Does your burner consistently go on off, on off while you’re working?  Does it frustrate you having the water go cold hot cold hot?  This could indicate some simple adjustments or major concerns.  When operating, a well-tuned burner and coil system should maintain a consistent operating temperature without cycling on and off.  Unless of course you turned your thermostat lower.
