The rules have changed for owning and operating hot water pressure washers in Southern California according to the SCAQMD Rule 222 filing program for burner emissions. It effects anyone who own or operate diesel fired pressure washers in a geographical area of Southern California. This new ruling is a major improvement over the previous regulations that had classified hot water pressure washers as large industrial boilers.
